Welcome
To Spiller Real Estate!
This
area of Texas is probably the most diverse and most interesting of all
the areas of Texas. We have mild winters, easily adapted lands, fairly
easily accessible water year around, proximity to metropolitan areas,
and some of the most interesting history. The land is reasonably priced,
and the people are true Texans, friendly and courteous
EDEN
is 19 miles E of the geodetic center of Texas. It is in West Central
Texas on the edge of the "Hill Country" about 45 miles southeast
of San Angelo at the crossroads of US Highways 87 and 83, and 55 miles
north of Interstate 10. EDEN is near three lakes: Ivie Reservoir is
about 20 miles NE, Brady Lake is about 30 miles E, and Lake Nasworthy
is about 50 miles W. EDEN is a small town of about 1500 people with
an outstanding public library, public school, churches and a new golf
course. EDEN has a hospital, a clinic, a nursing home, a dentist and
a weekly newspaper. It is served by a bus line, has a volunteer fire
department, and ambulance service; four parks, many clubs and a very
low crime rate. It is an excellent place to live and raise a family
or for people to enjoy retirement.
MENARD
is a small Central West Texas town along US Highway 83 between Eden
and Junction. It has an agricultural based economy and a population
of about 1600. The beautiful San Saba River runs through it.
